This is a great way to meet people, find out what is going on in Boulder and have fun, challenging conversations. The group meets on Thursdays, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., in the UMC by Domino's Pizza. For questions, contact janet.garcia@colorado.edu (or rebecca.sibley@colorado.edu).

SUMMER COFFEE HOUR

Summer Coffee Hour takes place on Fridays, at 5 p.m. in the same location (across from Baby Doe's in the UMC Grill) as during the semester. This is different from the International Coffee Hour held during the semester since it will not be sponsored by the Office of International Education and there will be no free refreshments. But it IS a way for everyone to meet and go to a local restaurant! For questions feel free to contact: Muneeb Kamal (muneeb.kamal@colorado.edu) or Dan Levinson (daniel.levinson@colorado.edu) or Diba Mani (manid@colorado.edu). ITA Coordinator Vivekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08172313122321412818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35204568.post-32304106755813101982007-06-07T14:14:00.000-07:002007-06-07T14:16:52.735-07:00Accent Reduction Courses Summer 2007
Dear International Graduate Teachers,

Two great summer courses available for accent reduction. Here's a tentative list of English Oral Training resources available in Boulder. Please let me know if you would like to add some institutions to the list. Thank you."

My reply:

"That's a practical suggestion. I'll send out a survey about when ITAs would like to have the ITA workshops for Spring 2007 at the end of Fall 2006. I'm guessing that's when you have a better idea about what your class schedules look like for Spring 2007."

Any other suggestion as to when you would like to do the workshop?ITA Coordinator Vivekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08172313122321412818noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35204568.post-1159549693123876812006-09-29T10:06:00.000-07:002006-09-29T10:08:13.133-07:00The coming up ITA Workshop
October 3 ATLAS 200
What Can We Do to Help Students Who Are Struggling?
Sae Ogihara, International TA and Graduate Student in LinguisticsITA Coordinator Vivekhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08172313122321412818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35204568.post-1159549474618203452006-09-29T10:02:00.000-07:002006-09-29T10:04:34.620-07:00ITA Manual (draft) Fall 2006 available onlineDear ITAs,

The ITA Manual (draft dated Fall 2006) is available online.
Check out the link below and click on ITA Manual.
